Activities and Exploration Day Camp
Registration is NOW OPEN for 2024 Camp Koda!
Camp Koda offers a new, fun, and unique experience each week that allows youth to discover new interests, meet new friends, explore nature, enhance self-esteem, be physically active, and create memories that last a lifetime. Kids will unplug from technology and engage in activities, in a safe and fun environment, that keeps them moving and builds social and independent skills. Our day camp is packed each day with activities that will keep minds sharp and bodies moving, like swimming, nature walks, field trips, science experiments, crafts, cultural exploration, sports, music, and more! One day each week (excluding sessions 1, 4,10, and 11) campers also get to attend our very own YMCA Camp Cormorant on Big Cormorant Lake, MN! There they get the camp experience and even more kids' choice adventures like water fun, ropes course, archery, boating, and more. On the weeks the campers don't go to Camp Cormorant, they will take another fun field trip!

Parent Information
Children may be dropped off between 8:45am and 9:00am each day and must be picked up by 4:00pm. Extended care is available 7:00am – 9:00am and/or 4:00pm – 6:00pm each day for $25/week ($50 for both time slots). Parents will receive a schedule for the week on the Monday of their camp week. Drop-off, pick-up, and extended care is also available at the Fercho YMCA.
What to Bring
All activities and healthy snacks will be provided. Please send a nut-free lunch, swimming suit, bug spray, tennis shoes, water bottle, and sunscreen with your child each day. Campers should never bring money or anything of value to camp.
Camp Payments
A $50 deposit per session is due at time of registration. The remaining camp balance should be paid at least two weeks prior to attending camp. Payments can be made online or by mail (YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties ATTN: YMCA Camp Koda, 400 1st Ave S, Fargo 58103). *Please write the camper’s name in the check memo.

Camp Koda Refund Policy
Camp Koda Credit/Refund Policy There is a $50 non-refundable/non-transferrable fee for all Camp Koda sessions unless cancelled by the YMCA. If you apply one week prior to the first day of camp, then a full credit/refund, less $50 non-refundable/non-transferrable fee will be given. Once camp begins, no credit/refund will be given. There will be no credits/refunds for days missed due to weather-related cancellations, illness, other activities, etc. You will need to fill out a refund/credit form, which can also be found at either Member Services Desk. The form will be reviewed by the department, and you will be informed of the action taken.
Forms, Waivers and More Information
The YMCA Camp Koda Team is excited to announce that the online platform to hold all camper information and waivers, CampSpace, is LIVE! A link to CampSpace will be sent to the email on file within 24 hours of registration. Getting logged into CampSpace and filling out all waivers is vital to your campers success. Campers will not be allowed to be dropped off until all required waivers are filled out.
