Our personal training is truly “personal,” tailored to your individual needs, abilities, and goals. 

Scheduling is flexible - A trainer is available at both locations, every day from open to close. Personal Training is available for ages 8+.

We offer tons of session options so you're sure to find something that fits your needs! Sessions listed below are one-on-one, unless listed otherwise. All sessions must be paid in full before the session begins, and used within one year of purchase.

How to Purchase Sessions

Personal Training sessions may be purchased in-person at either Member Services Desk or over the phone at 701.293.9622.

  • Participants will receive a ‘card’ for each session they have purchased
  • These cards must be turned in to your trainer at the time of your session.


How to Schedule Sessions

Personal Training sessions may be scheduled at either Member Services Desk, Fitness Desk or over the phone at 701.293.9622.

  • Sessions must be paid for in full before they are scheduled with a trainer.
  • Personal Training sessions cannot be scheduled online.

Working out is more fun when you do it with friends – and personal training is, too! Get all the advantages of YMCA Personal Training in a fun partner setting. With Partner Training, you and your friend can tackle your health and wellness goals together with the support of one of our experienced personal trainers. 

Small-Group Training

Small Group Training

Stay accountable and find new workout partners with Small Group Personal Trainin! Sign up for the day/time you would like, and you will be placed in a group with up to 5 other participants. Sign up with friends, or meet new people! Open to YMCA members only.

Kids and teens will get active and improve their performance in sports with Personal Training – now available for ages 8+! A certified Personal Trainer will meet with kids and teens to get them on track to lead a healthy lifestyle, excel in sports, and more! One-Time Form Check

One-Time Form Check

Take a hands on approach to evaluating your squat, deadlift, bench, press and/or Olympic Lifts, including power cleans and power snatch form. This 90 min. session gives one-on-one attention, focusing on any types of lifts or training areas to break through any sticking points or plateaus in your lifting technique. We focus on proper cueing and technique to build a stronger foundation in your lifting. Ages 15+. Members: $90, Non-Members: $120.
