COMMUNITY RESOURCES
The YMCA is here to make sure every child, family and community has what they need to achieve their best. If you or someone you know is in need, the YMCA can help connect you to resources within our organization and in our community.

YMCA Summer Food Program
Every summer, the YMCA participates in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Walmart Foundation. The YMCA provides hot and nutritious meals at breakfast, lunch and supper every weekday June through August to children ages 18 and under at no charge at many area locations.
The YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties has been advocating for youth hunger and participating in this program since 2009. The goal of the Summer Food Program is to help alleviate food insecurities among low-income and vulnerable children. Children may experience health issues or food insecurity in conjunction with other material hardships. Connecting children and families to additional resources can provide the support they need to improve their quality of life by reducing food costs and attending to other immediate needs. For more information on the Summer Food Program, please contact Katie Anderson at 218.359.2322 or anderson@ymcanorthernsky.org
YMCA Financial Assistance
The YMCA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that EVERYONE in our community has the ability to participate in our programs. Through funds raised by the YMCA, United Way and other grants, we are able to provide financial assistance for membership, child care, programs, summer camp, and more.
